Hi,
I'm getting the frame and forks from a Specialized Secteur and am going to transfer the components off another bike to give myself a winter ride with the same geometry as my best bike, a Spec Roubaix.
I'm going to have to buy a few extra bits to make it all work and would like to get these in advance.
The old bike has a 9 speed Dura Ace braze on front mech and I know I'll need a Shimano band on adapter. Anyone know what size I'd need? I think it will be the 34.9mm one but it'd be good if someone could tell me
Also, the old bike has an italian threaded bottom bracket. This means I still have the brand new english threaded FSA MegaExo BB that came with my Gossamer compact chain set. I'd like to fit that to the Secteur. Does this sound reasonable? Is the BB shell width of the Secteur an issue or are all bikes of this type the same?
