sportive / audaux calendar

Is there a sportive / audaux calendar knocking about - I just read one of this moths cycling mags and it had several that had been very close to me....
not that i'm ready to tackle anything big yet, but I might have tried a 60km - and would have enjoyed going along to watch and pick up a bit of knowledge. Ta, Neil.

it's very much a seperate world until you poke your finger through into it and then you realise that it's a whole seperate world of rides going on all the time all over the place, not done many myself but they're damn good fun

Sportives calendar.

The two disciplines are very different.

Sportives are all about headdown arse up speed , the route is marked for you and feedstations laid on. Audaxes require a bit of care following the route and dont require great speed ,more independance is required, theres no broom wagon to pick up stragglers riders are expected to be self sufficient and many control points are cafes with great cake
