To my mind that lasted extremely well. I would have thought that after a week there would have been bits disappearing. It looks as if once it passes a certain point it then becomes fair game to acquire bits from it.

It lasted about 160 days before the first bit was taken (pump). Clearly NYC is not as ridden with petty thiefs as certain parts of our country. If they were to repeat that experiment in somewhere like Greenock (no offence, just an example 
) then I think we would be counting the bikes demise in minutes rather than months!
