Stolen Scott Speedster S55 XL - South Manchester

Bought in February 2011, stolen November 2011.

Black frame with white and yellow trim, frame size XL. See profile picture for image...

Left it in the bike sheds in the Towers Business Park on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury at 8am locked up with an armoured chain. Found out at 5.05 it had been nicked when I found my chain cut through and no bike. Called business park security and they turned up at the same time as the police who had been called by an eye-witness. CCTV not good enough to identify who did it but they did leave an old Btwin, presumably stolen, bike they arrived in which was taken away in the police van for analysis. Turns out I got there 2 minutes after they took it!

Maybe someone will get their stolen bike back at least...

A bike like that will always get stolen sooner or later - the sad fact is, if you have a decent bike, don't leave it locked anywhere! I found that out in the 1980s and since then I've only had bikes stolen from my house!!! I now lock them in there too.

I am unsure if you are still on here...I had my Scott Contessa stolen last week and I've been browsing e-bay ever since. Now I noticed a bike that looked suspiciously a lot like the one you had stolen. Here's the link to it, might be nothing but you never know...
