Morning all. Cool and bright again outside. Day of entertaining one of the younger grandson's, off to a local trail centre with the bikes. He wants to show me how much better he's got. Sad news on a train yesterday, certainly makes you wonder about travelling safely. Mates currently doing or done the new york marathon today, think he's mad. Anyway have a nice day folks.

Morning. Traditional lie in had but still feel slightly tired for reasons unknown. Will cure with coffee and a bike ride once it brightens up a bit. Then maybe a spot of sim racing.

Bright start, doing nothing today as I have a stonking cold. Drugged up ! - Reminds me, next lot of painkillers and decongestant due !

A good start to the day has reached the near mid point and turned grey and windy.

Mrs Wakemalcolm has been summoned to support her best friend through the likely death of her father. It's sad but he's had a full life and outlived his wife and friends, and doesn't want to live any longer. He's got 'high risk' surgery today which we're aware is code.

Morning, slow start after 2am bedtime after beer and chat. Meat based breakfast consumed then maybe a cycle along the coast before more chat and beer.

Back home in North Yorkshire and it’s bright and sunny. However still suffering from cold that started on Monday. So other than walking Bertie I’m not sure there will be much activity.
