Is Welsh for "Hello";). I'm Al and I'm from sunny Welsh Wales. Thank you to Gareth for telling me about this site:smile:

I'm just starting to get back on the bike after a fairly long lay off, nothing too serious though as I'm a bit older (not sure about the wiser bit:laugh:) than when I last attacked our local Brechfa Forest.

I ride a Kona Exposif and my wife has a Specialised Rockhopper, our daughter who is 9 will also be along for the ride and we've been informed that she now needs a "proper" MTB:laugh:

Anyway, nice to be here, I'll shoot off and have a look around and catch you all in a bit.

Al:cycle:

hello, Ferryside? used to go there with my folk when I was:wacko::thumbsup::biggrin:

Sadly, my early memories of Llanybydder aren't so pleasant. They usually involve youth rugby and being stamped all over at the breakdown by some huge lunatic young farmers .......

 my wife was born & bred here, I've lived here a little over 10 years and nowt has changed from your memory days really apart from only 3 pubs open here (not that we frequent them:ohmy:) and there are a few less "locals" here.

We live on the edge of the village and tend to stay there:laugh:
