Some things in life don't get much sympathy from those we live with. Can we have a sympathy thread where people post kind comments to those in need? I can start us off. I have a rotten cold.

Actually being female, I have cleaned the whole house today, made homemade steak pie and spent the afternoon cheering my 8 year old on at his first footie match. Don't make assumptions, us women get on with it Maggot. x

I hate colds and bugs, you have my sympathy Karen. It's this time of year, I always feel crap around now too.

Get well soon. Sometimes a cold is a nuisance, and not enough to be properly ill and have people bring you stuff.

Have some virtual flowers and a big mug of hot chocolate. Got to keep your fluids up. (That doesn't mean drink the water in the vase)
