Tesco 3w Torch

I've seen this mentioned before.
How good is the Tesco 3w torch as a front light (unlit country roads for me) and how do you attach it to your bike.

Excellent especially when you consider the price. Have a look at dealextreme. A couple of different styles of mounts for a couple of pounds and free delivery.

There are threads here and on Bikeradar that detail different mounting options, a Google search will find them.

I use 2 torches on my bars and one on my helmet and that's enough to cycle fast in complete darkness. Even 2 torches will throw out a lot of light, you just have to position them sensibly as they have quite a tight beam.

Mount using a bit of inner tube slid onto the knurlled torch body to stop it scratching the bars, then a Livestrong band looped over the bars and each end of the torch.
