Aye, British techs for UKCR. An amazing piece of good news. Hopefully they can extract them safely.

Amazing, first I've heard of it and I'm delighted. I was pretty sure the worst had happened, well done all.

On a serious note, they've still got to get them out. I can't imagine how it must have felt to see two cavers turn up only to be left alone again while they went back to get more help.

Great news, that cave diving is something else, there is a documentary about cave diving thats worth searching out.

The debate at the moment appears to be whether to train the boys to scuba dive out or let the water recede which could take weeks - even months have been mentioned.

I have seen 4 months being quoted as the possible length of time it will take for the water levels to drop sufficiently to walk out.

The Peruvian miners were rescued by drilling an escape shaft, not sure how practical that is.

I've just seen this on bbc ,that's a long time when your 11..
I thought they were going to have them out in a few days!!

At least they can be well fed and get lots of emotional support .
Still horrendous however you look at it.

On the plus side these kids are Thai kids so they will be a lot better at dealing with this than a bunch of western kids emotionally.
