Topical one this (what with the film and all)

I chose my Avatar years ago and generally use it any online environment. It is recognisable to those who know me from other forums and even to my "real life" friends.

But, I had no reason for choosing it that I can think of, I just had a picture of Fry and liked Futurama, so kinda "plopped" it online and it stuck from there.

Funny though, I've only just realised how much thought people put into their choice of avatar and also how much others read into them. I am, for instance, not a ginger haired 20 something but have noticed that many assume I am ...just from my choice of avatar.

So why did you choose yours?

Chose the name a few years back now, when I got back into cycling and wanted to ask a question related to pedals  Googled, and got Cycling Plus forum, signed up and picked first name that came into my head; kinda fits my smutty sense of humour anyway. When there was a mass-migration to this site, and avatars were possible, just googled up an image of Finbarr Saunders

Lol, no Claud.. though I wouldn't mind (there are currently about 40 Blue Men at the moment)

European marketing is my part of the Blue Man machine.
