I have v6.02.

i tried to add another account 2 days ago which for some reason was unsuccesful :sad:
now it will not accept emails from my ISP. i can send but it will not download them i have checked all the settings and the pop3 etc

i dont know howi expect people to be able to help but any advice?
 
Delete the account and set it up again.
 
I've had this kind of thing happen before. The fault may not be with Thunderbird but some kind of sync issue. Can you reset your password with your ISP and then reset it in Thunderbird?
 
On mine the connection security is set to None and the Password is transmitted insecurely.
 
hmmmmmmm will i lose all the filter settings?

I think MozBackup allows you to back up and restore the filters. It allows you to save and restore a variety of aspects of your profile individually but I can't check at the moment as I'm on a Mac.
