Trek 7300 WSD

A friend has asked me if the Trek 7300 WSD would be suitable for her. I have looked through the spec and I must admit that I have no idea of any of it as I ride a roadbike.

Is this a good choice for a hybrid ? I know she needs a more upright riding position as she tends to get numb/pins & needles in her hands.

In your opinion could there be a suitable upright bike for her ?

Is she going off road and thus needs the suspension? If going on road or only very light offroad, I'd get the 7.3 instead, there are some good deals right now on 2011 bikes. I had a 7.2 or 7.3 in 2009, lovely superlight bike

I missed the suspension bit on the spec !!

No, I don't think she would want suspension on the bike. I think it would only be for pottering around town and a few small rides out.
