Hi,new to the forum and have returned to a bicycle for sedate trips to my local inn in the summer.Have bought an old Triumph traffic master (1980)in a nice shade of green,oily rag condition.Could anyone help with a colour match so I can touch it up here and there.Cheers

Thats mine,semaphore green if ever it was.Notice the use of the the word semaphore to show you that your you are now totally absolved of guilt.

The blogger seems to have had difficulty matching the colour exactly. He may respond to a post. I'd call it an olive green. (Incidentally, I'm also looking for a shade of green for a bike - I like that colour. In fact I like it a lot)

If it's the green I'm thinking on, British Racing Green should be a reasonably close match.

The only sensible thing to do if it's that important to match it properly is to take it to the local motorfactors and compare the tops of the aerosol touch up paints, or get someone who mixes paints to try and match it, but that could get pricey.
