Hi,
Just replacing the stock Shimano brake pads on my road bike with some Salmon Koolstops...
The brakes are Shimano 105's the type with the cartridge inserts, I have removed the brake pads and inserted the new Koolstops but something isn't quite right.
The raised lip thing (scraper) on the Koolstops is at the rear of the brake and not the front of the brake and I cant get the brakes setup (toed in) due to this lip causing theback of the shoe to be more raised than the front.
Is this normal, do I have to adjust the brakes to compensate for raised lip?
Or am I just complete stupid?
Oh and by the way I am off out to meet someone at 10:30 for a ride!
Cheers any help!
Russ
