As daft as it sounds, I still can't bring myself to eat Bacon Frazzles or smokey bacon flavour crisps, even though it's all flavouring with no pig in it.User1314 said:Crispy Bacon Frazzels maybe a novelty snack for children but are certainly too bland and "not tasting of bacon" for red-blooded adults.

That's interesting. The same rule applies to me.Patrick Stevens said:He explained to his fellow student that if he had been misled, then he had not broken his religious observance.

curry paste is for losers, and so is krappenberg. real ale and fresh spice is where it's at.User1314 said:Patak's Vindaloo Curry Paste (with turmeric and chilli) is very nice, though too mild for my tastes. I topped the heat factor up with Encona West Indian Chilli Sauce.
I had some with my chicken last night.
Though the sauce was a bit "dusty". Probably because though I put in the requisite amout of canned tomatoes, I did not put in any water.
I don't recommend the canned Kronenburg (extra smooth) though. It has a widget in the can. I prefer lager with a "fizzy bite" and this lacked any.
The Bombay Mix I had for desert was also mucho goodo, though I can't remember the brand but it was a very large, cheap pack. (£1.27)
