I've had a pulled hamstring, followed by a minor op on my wrist, so have been off the bike for a while and ne-e-e-ed to get back on, get some miles/kms (I prefer kms - they go up quicker ) in my legs before the season is wasted.

    Which is the better buy:
    - this Tacx T 1460 Cycleforce Swing @ £100 ?
    - this Volare for £30 ?

    Personal experience greatly valued

I've also put something like this thread on the Accessories and Clothing bit of the Tekkie section

I've had the Volare for 3 or 4 years and it's been excellent. It cost me £80 so it looks good value.
