...first 'clipless' moment - unfortunately it was in Trafalgar Square during the rush hour!!

No one's fault I just I got a bit of a wobble on as I had to go really slow to manouvre through the traffic, went to put my foot down but lost my balance and ended up on the tarmac!

Just bruises and a lot of embarrassment to show for it!

My first and only so far clipless moment happened when a cleat bolt came out so I couldn't unclip. However I fell into a lovely soft grassy verge on a deserted country road. (I never normally ride on country roads). I've had a couple of very close calls on the commute but never fully fallen over.

one of my pedals has been snatching my shoe recently causing unpredictable un-clippage!This has caused me a few near "total fails"!

LBS offered to replace the pedals as they are under a month old (very happy with that) but I suggested I'd let it roll for a week to see how i got on. last night I noticed I am missing a screw from one cleat...never even felt it was loose.

shall see if the replacement helps. I'm guessing it shall
