I get more upset by the leeching spunk buckets having a free life with their half a dozen bastids from all and and sundry random sex at the local on a friday night..

Fooking royal hating socialism nobbers, at least the royals actually create wealth for the country.

You're right to get upset by one and not the other and you're right to draw the parallel, the lives and life chances that the children born to the groups of people you highlight are remarkably similar, but we must always be sure that we never forget that the poorest of the two is also the least deserving. Thank you for reminding us.

I'm sure her new life suits her ...

At least I suppose it it nice to have some good news, even if you are not a particular fan of royalty. (I'm more neutral on this these days.) Nor would I begrudge the royals their chance at the joys and tribulations of family life, although it could hardly ever be considered a normal family life.

The very obvious privilege the royal family has (I'm not quite sure 'enjoys' is the right word) has to be offset against living in a goldfish bowl and very little actual privacy or, to coin a phrase, freedom of movement.

I bet Harry has trouble slipping out for a bike ride on his own.

There should be a public poll to choose the baby's name.

"Royalty McRoyal Face" would be my nomination.

You've met these people, I take it?

If not, you can come and talk to my clients and they'll tell you how 'easy' such a 'free life' is.

Don't hang back, tell us what you really feel.

The latter point is somewhet debatable: it's not like people don't come to Germany or France because we're a republic.

Also with a real lack of transparency about royal finances (Royal finances being exempt from the Freedom of Information act) and things like policing costs for royal events borne by police forvces and not counted, or the Royal Duchy Of Cornwall being tax exempt, we don't really know what the net cost or benefit to the country really is.

Apart from Princess Anne I think the British Royal family ate a waste of time.

On the other hand I am a fan of the Danish Royal family, who are very approachable.
