Humbling , at this time of year I am getting ready to spend 3 months canal commuting so it brings it home.

I hope the police have it right. Last year I stopped using a local length of canal as part of my commute after three lads made as though to push me in as I went past. They miss timed the lunge and I sped off. It shocked me though, it was dusk and there was nobody in sight apart from the four of us. I just didn't like feeling so vulnerable.
I just googled "cyclist pushed into canal" and was shocked how often it has happened.
Very sad.
