not the type that comes out of people's bottoms - I'd go to P+L for that. No, the weather kind.

Does anybody know of a website or (gasp) a book which gives wind directions by location and time of year? Aylesbury public library used to have a vast volume of meteorlogical data, but Lambeth is not so blessed. The internet has a commercial sites, but, really, all I want to do is to look up Spokane in June or Monte Carlo in May and check out the average wind speed and direction.

Problem is that the way the wind works is very dynamic, and isn't controlled by what day it is. Just because it was coming from the north west at 4mph on Jan 24th 1972 doesn't mean it will this coming January.

Your best bet is to go on www.netweather.tv and go use the GFS charts, they forecast about 1-2 weeks ahead. If you need any help interpreting them you can drop me a PM ;)
