Where have all the TV garden programmes gone

Was down at Harrogate at friends at the weekend and he was telling me he's going to get someone in to do something with his back garden but he doesn't know what.

Mentioned that he should watch the city gardner as I think he's quite good and has good ideas.

That led us onto what happened to all these type of programmes like that?

Ground Force, Monty Don, City Gardner etc.... and where has Diarmuid Gavin and his Home Front programme disappered too? Did he just get too much private work to not bother with the TV anymore????

They all seem to be repeated on uktv gardens, but nothing new for ages, I used to love that home front in the garden too, so extreme but great to see the end result.

Perhaps they hibernate for winter. They might come back with spring as people want to go out gardening more.

Yes. Gardener's World comes back in spring - sometime in March, I think.

Think she went into hiding for a few years as she had a really difficult time of things as her mum was killed in the Tsunami a few years back
