Which colour tape? Help!!!!

OK....I know this is a laughable post but I am trying to decide on a minor upgrade to my Giant SCR. I've had the bike for a few years and it's doing me proud. Just getting round to upgrading a couple of bits so she looks a bit different to this pic - just put some lovely new Bontrager Race Lite Hardcase tyres on (black n grey) and they look and feel great. Have upgraded saddle to a women's specific (not the one shown in the photo - now have a black wtb saddle with a little red patterning). Also have spd pedals and not the lovely toe clips shown.

Anyway...next upgrade is bar tape as the white shown in the pic is no longer white! Now I know I'm a girl and so this is very important to me. I'm struggling with which colour bar tape. I don't want white again and don't want black as it's too masculine. I think the only option is grey but wondered if anyone else can come up with an option they think would look good. And of course.....any recommendations on said bar tape? Thinking along the lines of Fizik Microtex.

Is that cork tape or smooth synthetic leather? Going synthetic leather will make it much easier to keep the tape looking nice, Fiz:ik microtex (non-soft touch) is a good example of this.

Looking at the photo the bike is Black & Silver/White. Unfortunately a light grey will be almost as bad as white for getting grubby, there's a reason that black is the quazi-standard bar tape colour.

Bar tape and colour coordination isn't just important to the girls when it comes to bikes. I'm hopeless when it comes to decorating though.

edit: sorry thats out of stock. How about silver instead?
Theres also a red/black tape listed (again unfortunately out of stock) that would match the seat.

Thanks for the advice (that applies to all responders). I have found something similar to the flowered embossed one and it has great reviews. It's this:

Can't wait to get it now and spruce up the bike a little more. Will post some photos when finished.

Getting very anal with my bike now as doing my first event in June......a 50 mile charity BHF ride. We then hope to do a sportive later in the year.

Tape should match your saddle. So white saddle means white tape. Black saddle then black tape.

FWIW I reckon your bike will look better with white saddle / white tape. Black will be boring.

Fizik Microtex is the best tape I've used. And with regular wiping with wetwipes you can keep it white (ish) for quite some time. White or light colourer cork tape is pointless.

I saw a very fetching leopard skin bar tape in Richmond Park this evening. It looked really good.

But don't try to match saddle detailing colour, typically it just looks odd.
