Love pasta, but had a rocky start with it... Mum and Dad 'brought' it back from America in the 80's... but being a very good 'meat and three veg' cook, mum wasn't too sure what to do with it, so it was meat and two veg, and a spoon full of pasta, with no sauce. So until i had pasta as it should be, it was as tasteless and bland as some tasteless/bland foodstuff could be.
