A year is a bit strong but I don't know what he did.

Joe is a good lad but is his own worst enemy.
He needs to grow up a bit before he comes back.

Joe was harmless IMO... I know some people took offence to him and the things he wrote but at the end of the day he was a hot headed boy... you could argue he was passionate about what he believes in.

Banning for a year is a bit odd and possibly harsh, but then I do not know what he did.
