York cycle friendly accommodation

Hi all,

Any recommendations on cycle friendly places to stay in or near York? I'm going to do the way of the roses shortly and keen to find somewhere with covered overnight storage.

Living in York, I have no idea about acommodation, but you can always ask Bike Rescue to keep the bike overnight while you stay in a nearby B&B?

I did way of the roses in May. Stayed at premier inn next to route on western side. Stored the bikes in laundry room. Got good room and meal deal. Did the same in Lancaster.

I stayed at a Premier Inn in Lancashire a few weeks ago: I just kept my bike in my room.

Most B&Bs in York will be more than happy to accommodate cyclists.

If you want an alternative to the YHA, I would recommend the Dairy Guest House which is closer to the city centre.
