You never forget your first, so post up a photo of the bike that got you going.

Mine was a Carrera Kraken, Did many trips from Walsall to Brum along the cut.

The photo is just one I've grabbed from Google rather than the actual bike, but the bike that got me started was an Orange E3 mountain bike that I borrowed from my father in law...

My first was a raleigh Chippy, then some thug (insert a stronger word there) stole it.

I had the inherited Road bike, BMX and Mtb during their crazes of the 80/90s but after a bit of a break my first bike as an adult was a heavy near BSO, Atlanta Blackdiamond (but I don't think I have a photo of it to hand and I can't find one on the net either).

The first bike I owned from new was one of these:

I really wanted something with a bit more street cred, like the custom Mongoose the lad up the road owned (his dad owned a bike shop and he built it from parts), but at least it wasn't the Grifter my parents wanted me to have.
