I'll start. I'm one of those people who left the country to make room for somebody else to move in.

I'm a lefty, socialist type person politically, but I've been saying for years (and have horrified some nicey nicey people) that the UK needs to get a grip on immigration. It's an argument fraught with difficulties, but (to make an analogy with the holiday thread) if everyone goes there, it ends up as a place nobody wants to be in.

I'm the offspring of economic migrants (albeit only from Ireland, 1950s) and I'm culturally confused.
