I still have a virtually pristine vinyl copy of Wasa Wasa. I'm not sure I should admit to that but it seemed a good idea at the time.

RIP.

That's a nme from the past. My sister had an Edgar Broughton poster on her bedroom wall, along with one from The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Always wonder what made them sensational lol

It's staggering to think that it's over 50 years ago - but "Out, Demons, Out" enlivened many a free concert in and around London in the early 70s (particularly if they followed the Third Ear Band....).

Is his brother still alive?

Edgar Broughton used to live just up the road from me. Remember him driving around in the band's Ford Thames van in the late 60s

Just found out he died yesterday.
You may be saying 'who?', well he was in the Edgar Broughton band but even if you are not familiar with them I would imagine many here will have heard him play, he played the drums on the part of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells which featured drums.

His drumming in The Game by Roy Harper is pretty darn good.
