I keep thinking about my school days .Making slides in the school playground Playing conkers up the outside of the slide instead of using the steps . Nobody had thought Health and safety back then

My metalwork teacher stopped one of my early money making ventures. He found my photocopied £1 notes in a book I was reading. He thought he'd found a fortune.

Whilst he liked my idea, he couldn't let it continue.

They have only recently become my responsibility, a clearout is happening shortly.

Morning. Murky and overcast but warm here. Out very early for a peaceful 10k shuffle and the bath is now running for a nice steep.

I don’t think the sun will break through today. Not sure I mind as the house got very warm last night.

Woke for my usual pee at 04.30 (normally need one during the night) but 04.30 was stupid as I then couldn't get back to sleep.......so here I am .

Good morning folks,
Mrs Tkk and I are taking part in a local race today, the " May 5 ". Five miles around the tracks and roads starting at the local school. It's a glorious sunny morning, there will be quite a few people I know along the route to take the p*ss offer words of encouragement 😁
9 O'clock start and about a 15 minute walk from our house so really convenient. I might have a cooling glass of Cider when we get back.
