we are all still here then.
CERN haven't managed to blow up the earth with their experiment and revert us all back to micromatter atoms.

Which is a relief...

How do you know we haven't been sucked through a black hole and are exactly the same as before, except everything is made out of anti-matter??

Spooky.

I think they're just spinning those particles about for the mo', and actually doing the colliding and stuff (pardon me if this is too technical) at a later date....

Yep, no collisions yet, and the full-speed ones won't be until next year, so the world shouldn't end before January at the earliest.

Apparently it's no longer 'Global Warming',
'Climate Change' is the new vernacular.

A friend of mine recreated the 'Big Bang' the other week on the group ride.

His rear inner tube failed, leaving a half-inch gash in it.
A few peoples ears were left ringing.

It appears the LHC has sent us back to the 90's...

We're on the edge of recession
Lance has just signed up for the TdF.

When they were going to detonate the first atomic bomb, some scientists
thought there was a chance it could suck up all the oxygen in the atmosphere.

They haven't properly fired it up yet for a reason; to lull us into a false sense of security. It's like the price of gas; inform us in the summer when we don't use much of it, then hit us with the bills at the start of next year. I don't know what will arrive first, a massive bill or a super massive black hole.
