Added rear rack to A-Line and now it is less stable

Hi all,
I recently added an offical Brompton rear rack with mud guard to my A-Line Brompton.
The problem is that I find the bike is now less stable when folded, than it was without the rack.
It seems to be because the front wheel is now slightly off the ground compared to the rack.
Does anyone else have this issue, or know of a fix?

Have you fitted the wheels on the rack with the correct offset? It is not obvious when you first put it together but the instructions should show how to use the spacer washers to create the offset. It should be very stable under normal conditions and it does lift the front wheel off the ground.
