Hi all,
been dipping into this site for the past two years ( since I started using my bike for commuting) - you seem like a nice friendly bunch so I thought I’d join in properly!
I ride a Jamis Ventura - bought originally as a relaxed road bike but I’ve gradually turned it into more of an adventure/gravel bike (basically fiddled around with the geometry, set of 35s and a rear rack). I’ve also got an elephant bike (an old refurbished Royal Mail Pashley) - bit of a weight to heft around but great fun & the dog (mini Dachshund) fits in the front basket (restrained of course!). Again, I tweaked this to get it how I’d like it looking. I guess I like my bikes to function well but also to look nice too - I’ll post some pics when I’m able to on my account.
so, I’m interested ....... what tweaks/improvements or just for the hell of it changes have you made to your bikes? I’m must admit I find the fettling rather addictive! Perhaps I should get out and ride more!
