Another day, another cyclist down in Southampton

Yet again. I'm out on a ride at the moment, I've just passed an ambulance loading a cyclist into the back, on a stretcher, and the remains of his bike getting put in the back of a police car. Down by the Mayflower theatre this time. I'll look out for any news in the local rag.

It's incredible, every single wipeout I've suffered has happened in Southampton ( except a bad one in Chichester). I don't know whether they are all thick or blind, or both, but it just keeps happening, and 9 times out of 10, it's found not to have been any fault of the cyclist.

I couldn't work out if it was a bloke or woman, but he / she didn't look good, and the bike was mangled, the car that hit them had a broken windscreen.
