Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!

Went out for a 50 miler this morning, and across the fields of South Leicestershire and Northamptonshire there are hundreds of little Baa Lambs :biggrin::biggrin:, some of then still working out how to stand up.

Every year the first sighting of lambs really lifts my spirits because I know spring is here and the worst of the cold and dark is behind us.

Also this morning I'm happy to report that my legs got their first taste of sun and the arm warmers got tucked away after the first 10 miles.

Yippeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! :sun::biggrin::laugh:

Lambs can be cheeky little fellows. I remember one baa-ing at me while I was jogging along once.

Did you tie it to a five bar gate?

How old does a lamb have to be before it becomes a mutton?

It becomes a hogget first.

All to do with teeth (incisors)...but mutton over 2 years.

I never knew about Hoggets. If that ever comes up in a pub quiz I know who to thank.

I wonder what they taste like.
