Back space button blues

when will I ever learn....

I've lost count of the number of times I've typed up long posts/pms etc and hit the back space button on the keyboard only to see all that 'work' instantly deleted...so annoying...oh well I guess at least it's easier for you all that way

That's why I use the TextArea Cache add-on for Firefox.

Even if you accidentally close the window tab, the text is saved and you can easily recover it from the cache and paste it into the box once you've re-opened the page.

I have Plain old IE...I had firefox but uninstalled it for some reason I know not why...I probably got bored looking at it

Yep ... but it is me so i don't know how much of a comfort that is!

Same for me too but not always. Sometimes the backspace does nothing at all, other times it back spaces and occasionally it goes back to the previous webpage.
