I second GT-85, I also use it in the garden to help keep the local slugs out of my pots.

It helps, but I haven't got a major slug problem, I see nibbled leaves sometimes and thats it, but if I squirt a band of GT-85 all the way round the top of the pot and I don't see any slug or snail activity in the pot at all.
