Bingo is now in full swing on Wednesday evenings at the Tobermory Community Centre put on by the Ladies Auxiliary. Doors open at 6:30pm and Bingo starts at 7:15, come on out and try your luck!

After living here for 51 years I must admit I have never heard of the Tobermory Community Centre or the Ladies Auxiliary either. Must make enquiries.

Edit to mention it is a bit far away being in Canada.

Round our way, when it's played in the working men's clubs, it's always announced by the caller as blind, as in, 'four oh, blind 40.'

Same here, also many years back when 69 was called someone would say "What a position" can't think who that was

Use to confuse and wind my sisters up something chronic as kids doing that.
