Can anyone help identify this specialized Sirrus 8speed year?

Thinking of buying this bike
Excellent condition, just don’t know the year
Two questions
1) what year is this bike?
2) is $250 a good deal for this bike(comes with stand too)
I’m beginner rider, currently on a mongoose that is doing me no favors

No Idea of the year but don't think will be very recent. Perhaps 2021 or earlier.
Can't see the bike in detail but you say excellent.
Seems reasonable for $250. Do all the usual checks, do the gears select okay and no slipping? Wheels run true with no loose spokes? Tyres in good condition with no cracking? Pull the cranks from side to side, very small amount of play is fine. Headset bearings, hold front bake on and pull the bars to and fro, any play?
None of the above are deal breakers but can be used as a negotiating tool. Is it your size?

The pics from the seller are not great, Possibly a 2006/2007 Specialized Sirrus.
Maybe a bit expensive but it looks to have some extras, Suspension seatpost, stand, mirrors, ergo grips, mirror etc.
Maybe make an offer?

Looks well looked after. I have a bit older one with a few extra's and am thinking of asking £250 for it so I think your price in comparison is good.
