I had exactly the same problem, in the end turned out that one pedal was slightly loose.

Exactly the same thing happened to me too.

I had the same problem. Fixed by removing the pedals and greasing the threads then re-fitting. Also added a bit of lube to the pedal springs while I was at it and now they are nice and silent.
