in other words, 'No', then...

Cricket doesn' trequire more skill than, say, football, or tennis, but football and tennis require skill AND fitness. That's why cricket's the lazy-man's sunday afternoon game.

I shall give your informed opinion the consideration it merits.

Thank Rich P and User482 for your explanation of Bodyline etc. I was also confused between Lara and Larwood.

I am glad Trescothck was able to return to cricket.

I got Thommo's autograph at Chelmsford in 1975, the day when Robin Hobbs hit a hundred off 44 balls!

The myth that people can bowl at 100mph is just a myth perpetuated by the cricket industry to get more people to watch it.
Can you move your hand at 100mph? I doubt it.

Very impressive! I have a ball on my desk with John Emburey's autograph - he was a consultant on a management training course I did a few years ago. He seemed quite chuffed that I knew who he was, and had watched the 50 he hit against Australia at Edgebaston.
