Cyclist injured in hit and run in Edinburgh

"The woman was riding along Liberton Gardens when she was involved in a collision with a silver/blue hatchback car at about 09:30.
The 33-year-old suffered injuries to her upper body which it is said will take several months to recover from.
A Police Scotland spokesman said the driver of the car was aware of the incident but did not stop. Officers have appealed for witnesses."​
