The 2012 Olympics mountain biking is to be held at Hadleigh Castle in Essex (East of Basildon, West of Southend). We used to walk the dog around there, very hilly and interesting terrain. Not sure if mountain bikes are allowed there at the moment. And beware of cowpats!
