Methinks you are reading something into my message that isn't there. As you say, we're all just trying to help. I was (and am) simply puzzled by your idea that you need Active Sync to synchronise an iPod, and wondering why you thought the drive was formatted as FATS.

I had this a lot on my PC.
I bought a Wireless Network Card off E bay and if I wanted to use I Tunes I had to disable this.
