Yeah, only thing is, Giant aren't american and if "thought" leads to a big brand that isn't necessarily the wrong decision!
I have nothing against giant but if spending £1500 I want something else more unusual. And to support a uk business, even if the frame and parts are made in the Far East

I have a Tarmac Sport and love it, no experience with any of the others so my opinion is too biased to comment.

Supporting a UK business is nice but at the end of the day if you're spending that amount of money I would say it shouldn't be the priority.
If you've got a £1500 budget then I would say that Giant should always be on your short list !
But hey 'Different strokes' and all that !

Ribble, Dolan, Genesis, Shand - they could all offer something a bit different.

I feel duped! I got the Scott CR1 Pro 2012 just as the 2013 models were released, for £1800....down from £2600. I thought that was a good deal!!
mine was 5 years ago. Are they that much now? ?!!
