I don't think that these have appeared yet.

Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes - Time of my life (from Dirty Dancing)

Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy

And others from the soundtracks to Top Gun (Highway to the Danger Zone), Ghost (Unchained Melody) and Grease (Greased Lightning, Sandy, Hopelessly Devoted, Beauty School Drop Out) and just about anything that Whitney has ever done.

Top of the more recent list, though, would have to be Beyoncé - Single Ladies, just for the number of lavender versions of the dance which have appeared on YouTube. ;)

Bloody Hell! ;)

I thought Flying Monkey had it wrong when he posted this...

It needs:

1. A huge beat
2. A big-voiced diva (male or female - Loretta Holloway, Sylvester etc.*)
3. Length - in fact, the full 12-inches (ahem...)
4. Ebb and flow - an anthem needs to have calmer parts and then come back pounding (double ahem...)

It looks like he was right.

EPIC.

Yes, I absolutely love it, if for nothing else but the sheer sound quality!!

But hey, you know that anything with Freddie Mercury in it will be nothing short of the very BEST QUALITY!!

I am afraid I have a terrible weakness for orchestral drummers, wearing black tie, who ponce about flamboyantly. Love it.

Lol! Oddly enough, I was in the school Orchestra (Clarinet) and the guy who did the percussion was gay.

Don't think he wore black ties though ;)
