I don't know if you are familiar with the mountaineer Joe Simpson's famous saga on a mountain in South America. He wrote a book about it called Touching the Void, which was then made into a film. Anyway, during his 2 day crawl out of the crevasse and back to camp with a shattered leg, he had this song going around and around and around in his head the whole time. He said it was worse torture than the thirst, starvation, and smashed up leg.
