I've not listened to this for a LONG time. It's definitely not from my Spotify - or wouldn't be if I had a Spotify account. When I was a student I had a cassette of this. I used to play it when I was writing up lab reports, which typically involved a lot of concentration and tapping on a calculator and farting around with Rotring pens and graph paper. Stuff that would take 5 minutes in Excel these days. While chain smoking roll-ups.

Edit: My other favourite tape for this activity was a Rick Wright solo album that wasn't so much "ambient" as "insipid" and was perfect for not disturbing my concentration.

Always known of this album but never actually heard it... so I'm finally giving it a listen
