I'll use the Gary Busey version from the biopic 'Buddy' (1)
A wonderful film, one of the greatest biopics I've ever seen

I've seen a clip somewhere of him telling the story that Hollys widow walked out of the room as he was singing, as (to her) he was Buddy at that moment
From memory, it must have been at the time of the film, or not long after
Why he never got more recognition for that role is beyond me

1. Some of you will recognise Charles Martin Smith as Ray Bob Simmons, on the slap Bass, from The Untouchables
To me, he's still Terry from American Grafitti

Husker Du - Could you be the one?

Does wanting a feeling matter any more?

Cringy, hammy nonsense which demeans Cash's reputation.
That seems like a pretty niche opinion.

In my opinion it stands up as one of the best cover versions of all time, and has probably encouraged a huge number of people who wouldn’t have a clue who Cash was to explore his ‘real’ music. That can’t be a bad thing can it?

i went to see her live at Leicester Uni, not bad but really the 2 musical 'svengalii' behind the sound were Peter Hook and Rod Argent. Mind you the support act was Brendan Croker (later to be part of the 'Notting Hillbillies' with Mark Knopfler

She's not my usual musical thing but I like Twist In My Sobriety and I did buy Ancient Heart all those years ago.
