Good afternoon, after several years with a M/Bike (Marin Bobcat) and then a hybrid (Whyte) I have recently bought a Merida road bike and I am thoroughly enjoying it! So much faster and therefore I can go a lot further in the same time. I did a 65 mile charity ride back in April starting from Canterbury's Downland Cycles and completed the distance in 5 hours 11 minutes on my hybrid. Everybody else was on road bikes! and seemed to speed around that quicker. Last week I completed 120 miles on my Merida and very keen to get out as soon as I can which will be thursday sadly.

Welcome to the website, and well done on doing so many long rides on the bike
Just make sure you take a drink or 2 with you in this weather, I've just fitted a extra bottle holder to my bike.

Thank you , yes they had ample cake and biccies and tea which I made use of, I then feeling a little refreshed cycled the 10 miles home, that was ok until the last 1.5miles which I reckoned was down to a walking pace!
