Hello,
I've returned to cycling after last cycling 25 years ago.
I've just bought a Triban RC520 Gravel, to be delivered in a couple of weeks to the Decathlon shop here.
I'll be doing rides that will combine tarmac with riverside gravel paths.
I'm terribly unfit at the moment, and 178cm/ 75kg trim c. 25% bodyfat.
So initial rides will be short, with lots of stops for stretching the limbs as I warm up. A little and often and then build up aerobic fitness and get the heart trained up before anything longer distance.

Intial Help :
I've never had a bike with disc brakes, and read that these have to be bedded in like car brakes. So I'll search around here for advice ( I'd read 20x 20kmh followed by 20x 30kmh stops without ever letting the bike come to a complete stop is the way to go ).

Further Help :
I'll exhaust the search box of course, but may have questions on things to buy eg
- bike locks
- helmet
- lights
- helmet camera ( worth buying ? )
- bike stand
- DIY bike maintenance vs bike servicing at a shop

Thanks in advance for your patience with any amateur / ill-informed questions I may ask
